Power Failures and Computer Crashes

Yesterday, I was busy setting up some upcoming paintings. I was pretty excited. I've been wrapped up in these series for awhile now and just wanted to do something that I found inspiring. The government of Ecuador is busy replacing lines and posts on the coast. Translation = non-stop power cuts. Being out of electricity is one thing but it's something else when you lose all of your work and today the computer won't even start. This means that I will have to start over and hope that I will still be on the same page I was. I suffer from ADD. My interest is relatively short lived. For all the time I spent putting a layout together, to say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. My husband on the other hand is losing his mind because he is unable to retrieve his files. Tomorrow is a new day. Let's hope it's a better one. No painting today...
